to Bernard Shaak
in Words and Music
Bernard Shaak, teacher, pianist and composer, 1932 - 1999.Together
with his wife, Carolyn Shaak, he established the Shaak Music
Studio in Denver, CO. Their students have become concert
artists, music teachers, music school graduates and lovers
of fine music. He suffered a sudden heart attack
and died January, 1999. The Memorial Service for Mr. Shaak;
the eulogies, performances by some Mr. Shaak's students
and essays written in honor of Mr. Shaak are reproduced
on this CD and accompanying booklet.
